About Me

I spent many years training and performing in a variety of fields including Dance, Flamenco, Acrobatics and most passionately and life changing Capoeira.

Life events led to the desire to complement this background and learn therapies that are using hands as their tools to treat bodies.

I worked from 1997 to 2023 as a Massage Therapist where for the most part the slow and deep strokes of Myofascial Release were my preferred treatment style.

When I qualified in Biodynamic Craniosacral Therapy in 2013 my treatment path embraced a new and very exciting direction.  The gentle, non- intrusive approach of Cranio is, in my experience, profoundly effective in securing enduring relief from a range of debilitating and distressing conditions.

I studied with the Craniosacral Therapy Educational Trust (CTET) under the guidance of                              DO, FCSTA RCST, who has also been the tutor of many of my postgraduate courses, which include Stress, Trauma, Cranial Nerves, Behind the Smile (Vagus Nerve), the Hyoid, Focusing, the Pelvis and Women Health.  I also completed a course working with Pregnant Women, Mothers and Babies.

Most recently I have done a level 2 course in Understanding Autism, which opened up the door into the field of Neurodiversity, with so much more to learn.  In September 2023 I completed a Craniosacral course called ‘The flowering of potential: Neurodiversity in the developing child, adolescent and adult’ taught by

                    BSc.(Ost), DPO, FSCCO.

In my work I have supported people with general states of stress, depression and anxiety as well as the emotional and physical traumas resulting from accidents and post-surgery. I also work with many people with non-specific back and neck aches with great results.  Some of my regular clients use Craniosacral Therapy sessions as a tool for general wellbeing and a better sense of self.

I have been accredited with my diploma by the Craniosacral Therapy Educational Trust (CTET) and have been awarded the letters BCST (Biodynamic Craniosacral Therapist) by the International Affiliation of Biodynamic Trainings.

I am also registered with the Craniosacral Therapy Association (CSTA) and am entitled to use the letters RCSTA.
